TODAY CARTER BLOODCARE will be in the church parking lot for our January blood drive. Please consider giving the gift of life, as reserves continue to be low throughout the state.

A DRAFT COPY OF THE NOR’KIRK DIRECTORY is on the table in the Narthex. Please check your information and make any corrections or additions, and then initial by your name so we know who has looked at it.

THE ANNUAL GIVING STATEMENTS are on the table in the Narthex.

THE ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS meets in the Banner Room at 9:40 a.m. Tim McNutt is leading a study on 1 John. Everyone is invited!

A SPECIAL THANKS goes to Shari Sobek and Ellen Houlihan for
their assistance in last week’s Hope for the Homebound deliveries. If anyone is interested in learning more about this ministry, please contact John Reas at

THE WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON BIBLE STUDY GROUP will meet on Wednesday, January 24th at 1:00 p.m. in the Banner Room. All are welcome!

A NEW YEAR! A FRESH START! The Fellowship Committee will meet Wednesday, January 24th at 6:30 p.m. Come join us as we plan a year of activities for your church! Everyone is welcome. Contact Peg Kinkade at 972-369-3266 for more information.

OUR NEXT “JUST LUNCH” will be Thursday, January 25th at 1:00 p.m. at Palio’s Pizza Café. (Old Denton and Hebron) Come join us!

THE ANNUAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING will be held Sunday, January 28th immediately after the 10:45 a.m. service. Copies of the Annual Report will be available at the meeting. The formal call for the meeting is to receive the Annual Report, receive the Budget for 2018 and to vote on any changes to the Call of the Pastor. In addition, we will hear a report from the Building Committee on the status of replacing Price Hall. This is a very important meeting, and we need input from the whole congregation. We encourage first service attendees to return for the meeting. We need the whole congregation to be involved with the decisions as we move forward in the coming year.

STAY AND PLAY! Join us for a light lunch and an afternoon of games on Sunday, January 28th after the Annual Congregational Meeting. We’ll start with two games: “31” a card game and “Left. Center. Right” a dice game. Easy to learn and fun to play. (Please bring 3 one dollar bills to make the game a bit more interesting.)
Bring your favorite game to share with others. We’ll enjoy old favorites or learn something new. You will help us pick our fun and games. All are welcome to Stay and Play! Contact Peg Kinkade at 972-369-3266 for more information.

PLEASE SHARE with those in need the food supplies from our pantry. The Sharing Closet in the Narthex has canned goods and non-perishable food.
