Quick story:  The IRS once received a letter form an anonymous taxpayer.  It read, “I’ve cheated on my income tax for the past seven years, and tonight my conscience is troubling me to the point that I cannot sleep.  I have enclosed a $100 bill as my way of saying ‘I am sorry.’  If I find that I still can’t sleep, I will send the rest of what I owe.

As you grin at this silly story, I ask that you look at yourself and your relationship with others, and with God.  Do you give only what makes you feel good?  This week examine your relationships and remember that guilt is not altered by a token gift.
