THE ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL: We continue our study of the Gospel of Luke. Please join us in the Banner Room at 9:30 a.m.

SPECIAL THANKS goes to Dave McKenas, Maggie Turnipseed, and Gus Stroupe for their assistance with the Hope for the Homebound program. If anyone is interested in learning more about the program and The Nor’kirk’s outreach to those who are homebound, please contact John Reas.

THANK YOU ALL for helping make this year’s VBS happen!!!

And special thanks to Lisa McClurg and Susan Overstreet for their leadership! It was a wonderful week!

JUNE’S METROCREST COLLECTION items are laundry soap and detergent. A collection bin for these items, along with plastic bags that are always in demand, can be found in the Narthex.

THE WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON BIBLE STUDY GROUP will meet this Wednesday, June 21st at 1:00 p.m. in the Banner Room. We welcome everyone to be a part of a prayerful and thoughtful time.

“JUST LUNCH” WILL MEET at Italian Villa (Hebron and Old Denton) this Thursday, June 22nd at 1:00 p.m. Come join us!

OUR WEEKLY SACK SUMMER HUNGER program has started! If you can help in this summer’s outreach, please contact Gayla McCown.

DO YOU FEEL CALLED to be an Elder or Deacon? The Nominating Committee will meet soon to nominate two Elders and three Deacons to be elected for the 2018-2021 term. Please contact Lisa McClurg for more information at or 817-966-4078.

VACATIONS – We all love going on vacation and this is the time of the year when many of our Nor’kirk friends and family are doing just that. The Finance Committee thanks everyone for their financial support of The Nor’kirk’s programs and mission work throughout the year. This is a friendly reminder to keep up your pledge commitment over the summer months. The Nor’kirk Presbyterian Church is always opened for us and therefore we will have utilities, maintenance and our wonderful staff to pay during the summer.

“KALCULATORS FOR KIDS”: Grady Spruce High School in South Dallas needs used calculators for the Economics classes in the fall. Please place your donations of working old or new calculators in the box in the Narthex.

THE SHARING CLOSET in the Narthex has canned goods and non-perishable food. Please feel free to help out those in need with the food supplies in our pantry.
